He will be back next year looking for a better place in thepoints.  Matt Kenseth, a soft spoken young man, has moved from the short tracksof his home state of Wisconsin to one of the finest race teams in Winston Cup,Roush Racing where his #17 DeWalt sponsored ride is co-owned by Jack Roush andMark Martin.   Matt is a young driver who knows when to be aggressiveand when to wait for the race to come to him.  Matt also has the greattalent of knowing how to drive a hurt race car and that knowledge brought himthe 2000 Rookie of the Year Award by driving hurt race cars and gainingpoints.  Although he was not considered to  be more than a secondplace finisher in the rookie race Matt took the lead early in the season andnever looked back.   Returning to the #17 DeWalt ride he has proventhat he can win in Winston Cup and with experience will be in line for a futurechampionship.
