| Welcome Back! SCOPE!went on sabbatical for one issue, but we're back in the same quarterly formatas before, with a few exciting new changes in design. The Board of Trusteeshas re-affirmed that SCOPE! is an importantmeans of communicating with you about the activities, accomplishments, andfuture priorities of the SCOHS. SCOPE!will continue to focus on the needs and services for people requiring chronic,long-term, rehabilitation, and palliative care, as well as any of the otherspecialized programs and services we offer.
This issue, our focus is on palliative care and the pivotal roleplayed by the SCOHS in the regional continuum of services, training, andresearch relating to caring for the terminally ill.
